What is Pass Plus?

Pass Plus is a practical training program lasting at least 6 hours, aimed at helping drivers enhance their skills. Only fully qualified driving instructors registered with the DVSA can deliver the course. It includes six modules, each designed to provide experience in driving within town/city centre, in various weather conditions, on rural roads, at night, on dual carriageways, and on motorways. While most modules involve practical sessions, some may be theoretical due to local conditions—for example, practicing driving in snow during summer isn’t feasible.

Is there test at the end of Pass Plus?

There is no final test for the course; instead, your instructor will evaluate your progress throughout and complete a training report form. To pass, you must meet the required standards in each module. After finishing the Pass Plus course, you need to send the signed training report form, signed by both you and your instructor, to the DVSA to obtain your certificate.
